E-commerce Executive, Los Angeles, California

Poppy America is seeking an ambitious E-commerce Coordinator, based out of our Los Angeles HQ. Working closely with our Digital Team, as well as our CEO and Creative Director, you will be responsible for supporting the operational back-end of our ecommerce business. This position will provide the right candidate with the ability to own the digital and operational back-end of our business, from start to finish. We’re looking for a highly organized and entrepreneurial individual who has an in-depth knowledge of the online space, and is up for the challenge of managing ecommerce for a rapidly expanding start-up.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support to develop and maintain the e-commerce operation at all levels.
  • Monitor online activities in relation to traffic-new – customer acquisition, sales, conversion, campaign management including web merchandising (offers, promotions, gifting etc)
  • Monitor performance of 3rd party companies in fulfilment to ensure consistent achievement of agreed customer experience,
  • Develop cross functional Operational relationships to ensure business targets are met by providing leadership motivation and driving performance as P&L responsibility of the website to contribute to overall business.

Qualifications 

  • Approx. 2 years' experience in Logistics & E-commerce & Product Management position
  • Experience in e-commerce distribution in a retail sector, preferably in fashion and retail
  • Proficient in Google Analytics, Shopify, Klavyo and Zedonk – have the necessary experience in data / measurement tools, as well as usage and analysis processes, experienced in data consolidation.
  • Experience in Klaviyo , Zedonk
  • Search, Display, Facebook, Affiliate, Programmatic etc. knowledgeable in the management of digital advertising agencies plans
  • Highly creative and analytical problem solver adept at liaising between teams to drive results.
  • Managing and conducting all owned media communication (email, sms, web push etc),
  • Use digital marketing and Google applications (Adwords, Analytics, SEO, SEM), MS
  • Office programs effectively 
  • Basic and essential .js / html knowledge for ecommerce on GTM,
  • Analyze the consumer journey across devices and across channels to optimize the funnel and provide strategic data analytics guidance for the marketing initiatives (Huge proficiency at Google Data Studio, GTM and Enhanced ECommerce).
  • Extensive experience with practices and techniques related to web merchandising or online retailing.
  • Manage all online activity in relation to traffic acquisition, sales, conversion and a/b testing and reporting,
  • A self-starter with a sense of urgency, proven results orientation, and an affinity for consistently producing high-quality work,
  • Excellent facilitation skills with ability to team with technical and non-technical audiences including platform owners, executives, managers, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to analyze data and analytics and communicate out actionable insights.
